Founder :

The late Mr. S. Alwar Das, former Education Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh, founded Sri Srinivasa Vidya Parishad (SSVP) in 1990, with an avowed commitment to provide the highest level of education from Primary level to Post-Graduation and Research level to students and to help them attain high proficiency in their field of study. Sanketika Vidya Parishad Engineering College is part of SSVP.

The institution is headed by a governing body of which Dr. M. Gopala Krishna Reddy, former Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University and a very distinguished educationist, is the chairman.

Mr. SVH Rajendra having vast experience in running educational institutions in Visakhapatnam is the secretary & correspondent of the governing body. He also has rich experience in  the industrial field.

Principal

Prof. C. G. Rama Rao Rao, is the college principal. Obtained PhD in Physics from A.U in the year 1969 with specialization "Spectro Scopia of Poly atomic Molecules" .Worked as Scientific Pool officer in CSR for 3 ½ years Joined as a Lecturer in A.U College of Engineering and retired as a Professor & Head Of the Department of Engineering Physics in the year 2002 with a total teaching experience of 32 years.

In his tenure he had experience in conducting examinations as Chief Teacher Associate and cultural coordinator for A.U College of Engineering for 15 years.
Under his guidance 3 students were awarded PhD in the areas of Computer Science Engineering, Liquid Crystals, and Spectroscopy. In addition to that 3 students were awarded M.Phil Degree.

He Published 18 Research Publications out of which 8 are published in International Journals.
